Alvin grew up in Singapore in the 80s and 90s, absolutely hated, but was ultimately grateful for the fact that he was forced to spend 2.5 years in the Singapore Air Force. He attempted the corporate life with Accenture Australia as a programmer for a year before deciding it wasn’t for him. He went on to spend the last 17 years learning the ropes and mastering the intricacies of university administration as a student systems administrator and timetabling advisor.

He is currently based in the Central Coast NSW as a Curriculum Officer for UNSW working on the Faculty of Medicine and Health’s Medicine Program Redesign project.
